About The Position
This is an in-house position based out of our NYC Office. The responsibilities may differ by title, but ultimately you’ll be doing some version of the same thing: developing and executing performance-based SEM and delivering best in class service to our clients, and being an all around great team member. You will be working on clients with exposure across both Paid Search and Paid Social. If you only have experience with Paid Search, that’s okay! You will be working with multiple channels and strategically building a holistic paid media strategy.
The Role & Expectations
Θ Get trained on the Socium way of managing all aspects of SEM: search, shopping, feed management, display, YouTube, and whatever comes next.
Θ Support Sr. Strategist, Managers, and Account Leads on some of our larger accounts.
Θ Have the opportunity to fully manage smaller SEM clients, or co-manage the SEM portion of a multi-channel clients with other Socium team members.
Θ Discuss strategy and insights on client calls and during in-person meetings.
Θ Develop, communicate, and execute strategy, set up meeting agendas, build customized reporting, optimize, and be an ally to our clients.
Θ Get full Paid Social training and hands-on experience within your first month on the job.
Qualifications & Experience (Mandatory Requirements)
Θ Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills (there is a reason this is the first bullet—it is our most important qualification).
Θ 1-3 years’ experience in a day to day management of paid media accounts.
Θ Strong experience running Paid Search campaigns with Google Ads.
Θ Analytical thinker- always asking the “why” and not afraid to speak up.
Θ Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and formulas to help drive efficiently for day-to-day tasks.
Θ Experience running Paid Social campaigns within Facebook, LinkedIn, and/or Pinterest.
Θ Experience running Amazon Marketing Services.
Θ Understanding of product feeds and the important components that go into each.
Θ Experience creating new internal company processes to improve workflows.
Θ Experience building or supervising the build of scripts or automations.
