About The Position

This is an in-house position based out of our NYC Office. The responsibilities may differ by title, but ultimately you’ll be doing some version of the same thing: developing and executing performance-based SEM and delivering best in class service to our clients, and being an all around great team member. You will be working on clients with exposure across both Paid Search and Paid Social. If you only have experience with Paid Search, that’s okay! You will be working with multiple channels and strategically building a holistic paid media strategy.

Position Responsibilities

Θ Get trained “the Socium way” on how we think about the bigger picture of digital marketing and the different components that go into the channels we work with. 

Θ Work alongside all Socium team members to run campaigns for clients in the healthcare, beauty, luxury fashion, education, and hospitality verticals.

Θ Assist and contribute on client calls . 

Θ Consistently display an eagerness to learn; ask the “why” and willingness to go above and beyond to expand your knowledge.

Θ Proactively keep internal team apprised of the timing of deliverables and your capacity to take on more work.

Position Requirements

Qualifications & Experience (Mandatory Requirements)

Θ 6 months to 1 year experience in a day to day management of paid media accounts.

Θ Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Θ A true go-getter. Someone who is not here to wait for a task, but instead takes the initiative to raise their hand and make an impact on day 1.

Θ Analytical thinker- always asking the “why” and not afraid to speak up.

Θ Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and formulas to help drive efficiently for day-to-day tasks.

Qualifications & Experience (Pluses but not required)

Θ Already existing experience running Paid search and/or paid social campaigns.

Θ Knowledge of Google AdWords, Google Merchant Center, Google Analytics, Amazon Web Services.

Θ Knowledge of Excel functions such as: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP and SUMIFS formulas.
