Wix.com is a very popular website building platform that can be used for free to create professional-looking websites. Although Wix doesn’t include all of the bells and whistles or alternative website building platforms like WordPress or Shopify, many turn to Wix because of its ease of use and a user-friendly editor. Also, many can’t turn Wix’s incredible offer of a free platform for as long as you’d like, assuming you don’t need to use your domain name or don’t mind the ads. In most cases, however, most users will need to upgrade their free plan to a premium plan to have a comparable setup to a WordPress site and to add Google tracking codes.

Once you’ve built your Wix website, the next step is to add Google Analytics tracking so you can start to learn about your visitors. Website owners, marketers, and the like will want to know how many users are viewing their website, the pages the users are viewing, and whether or not the users are converting into customers.

Let’s discuss how to add the Google Analytics tracking code to a Wix website.
