We opened our doors in 2019 with four team members and a focus on getting the best possible direct response results for our clients through paid media. We’ve since expanded to offer SEO, but have rejected several other potential service lines in order to stay focused on what we do best: acquire new customers. There are a few phrases out there, like, “jack of all trades, master of none,” or “going a mile wide and an inch deep,” that highlight the exact mindset that we didn’t want to have at Socium Media. With all of that said, launching our new Performance Creative division was an easy decision because it allows our clients to take their programs to the next level.
As signal loss increases due to privacy-related changes (most notably, iOS 14.5), captivating ad creatives are more important than ever. Time after time, our best performing paid social clients were those that had the most effective ads. When Socium can marry our data, insights, and ideas with a client’s creative production team — magic happens! Our newly launched division gives that power and opportunity to all of our clients, not just those with robust in-house capabilities.
We deliberately called our new division ‘Performance Creative’ instead of just ‘Creative.’ Our goal isn’t to produce pixel-perfect assets that would look just as at home in a print magazine as they would in your Instagram feed. We can do it, but operating that way typically doesn’t drive sustained growth. The new division promises to create, edit, and iterate on concepts rapidly to arrive at the assets that drive conversions—whether it’s new purchases, leads, or customers.
Leading the charge in our new division are Paige Muyskens, Associate Director of Creative Strategy, and Kenny Fisher, Associate Director of Creative Production. Paige brings years of experience in hands-on paid social account management, as well as several years of work at an in-house brand where she conceptualized, developed, and sometimes even shot her own creatives. Paige will help our clients and Paid Social account managers bridge the gap between platform data and creative ideation. Kenny started his production career in Los Angeles before making the jump to a pay-for-performance full-service creative agency. Throughout his career, Kenny has created countless ads (which have collectively reached hundreds of millions of eyeballs!) and developed an innate ability to turn half-baked ideas into production-ready campaigns quickly. He brings decades of strategic insight to the division and has a marketing mindset that lends itself to creating ads that drive engagement, clicks, and conversion.
