Refined keyword strategy
- To refine our keyword strategy, we analyzed our client’s target audience and competitors, identifying valuable, high-value, low-competition keywords relevant to their services but underutilized by competitors. We updated our existing content with these keywords to boost rankings and included them in new content to increase search visibility.
- Additionally, we performed an extensive audit of our existing content to identify gaps and opportunities, using Ahrefs to analyze search trends and user intent. We then expanded our keyword list to include terms and phrases identified from competitor analysis and SERP features, ensuring a broad spectrum of relevant search queries was covered.
Blog expansion
- In addition to increasing the frequency of new blog content, we also expanded the length of our blog content, which allowed us to cover a wider range of topics.
- To ensure we balanced the amount of educational and conversion-oriented content, we developed a combined SEO and Content roadmap, proactively outlining the topics and goals for each piece of content.
Blog syndication
- We repurposed applicable content in email newsletters that targeted both DTC (prospective patients and their friends/families, etc.) and B2B (health system and insurance providers) audiences.
Keyword discovery
- Our comprehensive keyword discovery process began with an extensive audit of existing content to identify keyword gaps and opportunities. We then utilized Ahrefs to analyze search trends, keywords to target, and user intent. From there, we expanded our keyword list to include related terms and phrases identified through competitor analysis and SERP features. This robust approach ensured we captured a broad spectrum of relevant search queries.
Glossary creation
- We created a glossary to expand keyword visibility across a variety of subjects, including drugs, medication-assisted treatment, and rehab-related terms. When possible, we linked to other glossary entries and relevant blog content.
