For this month’s Socium Spotlight, we’re excited to feature Paid Media Sr. Strategist, Lauren Anzaldua!
What made you choose this career path?
I really enjoy the strategy that goes into digital marketing, and to me, it’s a form of creativity. The challenge of unlocking growth potential for brands is such a thrill, and I love that there’s always more to learn.
What made Socium stand out when you were looking for your next adventure?
I come from a start-up background but also love the agency vibe. To me, Socium was the perfect blend of the two. Being a part of something on the verge of significant growth is incredibly fulfilling.
Have you always wanted to work in the marketing/advertising industry?
Oh yes, but I didn’t realize it until a few years ago. I had always enjoyed the digital marketing aspect of my previous ventures and eventually realized that it was my passion. I decided to pursue this as my full-time career and haven’t looked back since.
What’s your most memorable client win?
Launching my first YouTube campaign! The goal was to test retargeting video viewers, drive revenue, and increase efficiency. I exceeded their 5 ROAS target across our YouTube campaigns and drove a 20+ ROAS from our retargeting audiences.
If you could tell your younger self one thing, what would it be?
You’re going to figure it out, and you’re going to live the life you’ve always dreamed of. YOU GOT THIS!
